Today was CJ’s last day of kindergarten.
Tomorrow he turns six.
Wasn’t it yesterday that I walked my little boy to school the first time, his hand clenched tightly in mine?
Wasn’t it yesterday that he turned five?
What happened in between yesterday and TODAY?
For the thousandth time I renew my committment to being present in this moment.
Because this moment is zooming by.

I feel like it was just yesterday you were stressing between private and public school and taking the old truck to the private school thing. Now his first year is already over? Ugh, it goes too fast.

Ugh I’m the same way. Then I try and replay all the times I’ve lived in the moment and they’re already hard to remember. I should put a note down to blog about them so I never forget!

Ah, yes. I remember that day.
Mine is just finishing grade 8.
He’s now taller than me and is going into grade..NINE!
It does go so fast. ENJOY.

They always do. And it seems like I can never take enough pictures, never write enough journal entries, never get enough momentous to keep each special moment fresh in my memory. Makes me a little sad to think about all the great memories that are fading away in my mind, but I guess all you can do is focus on making new ones.

Don’t worry: you are fully tuned in to the Power of Small – there’s no way you’re going to miss a thing. Just be sure, when you finally end this blog, that you print out every page and give copies to your kids!

I had my own minibreakdown with kindergarten ending this past week! They don’t warn you about such things!
