Whatever the mouse may do or not do now or in the future, I am firmly in his debt.
Disney’s lost and found department found our lost bag and is shipping it to us right away. The nice man I spoke with gently refused my offer to pay for shipping because it’s Disney’s POLICY to foot the bill.
Now that’s customer service.

I was just about to post how it was too bad about the lost bag when I noticed this new post. Now I can happily say Yay! That is beyond awesome.
Maybe it really is the happiest place on earth?
Congrats to your guy for going on Splash Mountain. What a trooper.

They ARE awesome. Once, my baby sister’s stroller was taken from one of the crazy stroller parking lots in front of a ride at Disneyland. Know what I’m talking about? There was another one there that looked just like ours, but much rattier, so went to lost and found to report the mix-up. A woman was already there with OUR stroller claiming someone stole her equally ratty diaper bag. It was OBVIOUS which stroller and bag belonged to whom. The Disney folks were very diplomatic and resolved the issue with grace and professionalism. So nice to hear that is still true.

I love, love, love Disney. They really do take care of their guests. Say what you will about cartoons and marketing and whatnot. They have awesome customer service. That’s why we got married there! (Definitely NOT for the cartoons.) :-)

Disney’s service is amazing. They “just get it.” My husband’s cell phone fell out of his pocket on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad coaster and they found it (undamaged, too!)and mailed it back to him.

Holy crap!! That is so awesome! Now I am okay with Disney taking over the known world. As long as the customer service is that good…

Wow, how did they know it was yours??? I mean did you have to email them a picture to prove it was you? :)

Disney did something similar for us once too. We’re already die-hard Disney fans in this house but stories like this just remind me why.

wow! super impressed especially after they disappointed me with their lost kid policy. If they are 10 and over, they expect them to make it to lost and found by themselves instead of helping the kid find their parents actively.

Disney gets so much flak be we had the BEST vacation at Disneyland over spring break with our 3 and 6 year old. I agree — they get it, completely. They get kids, families, customer service. The happiest place on earth, no doubt.

wow. yeah. once three out of four of us dashed onto a ferry at EPCOT, looked around – and the fourth, our then-9-year-old son Tom, wasn’t there! Of course we dashed off again… no Tom!
Three minutes later, we discovered him happily holding hands with two tween girls who were returning him to the lost and found. Just one of those “power of small” moments when you think of what COULD have happened and didn’t!!
Love the mouse. Really.

Now THAT is seriously good customer service. I once flew to England for Christmas holidays with my boyfriend’s family, and British Airways lost my bag. A very nice man from the airline drove all the way to Bristol (several hours from the airport, and on the other side of the country) to hand-deliver the bag to me on Christmas Eve so that I wouldn’t be without it. It’s pretty amazing when these things happen, isn’t it? People, and even companies, can be good. Heartening.

I’m so glad you got your precious bag back! I was really feeling the pain for you after your last post, but it all turned out okay and sounds like you had a grand time. I’ve never been to Disney anything, even as a kid – maybe I’m missing out on something? So, when are you going to vacation out our way? We only know CJ as an itty bitty pipsqueak at S and M’s nuptials! –AV
