He’s a Seattleite… part II

May 4, 2009 – 11:26 am

We’re standing in the middle of a visual feast. Carvings and fake mountains and a ginormous fake tree and… let me just say that Disney doesn’t mess around when it comes to theme park decor.

So why is CJ taking pictures of the sky?

“CJ what are you doing?” I ask.

He happily winds his disposable camera and CLICK takes another picture. Then he turns to me and says matter-of-factly, “I’m taking of pictures of the SUN, mom, to show people at home what it looks like.”

but of course you are.

Adorable! And a little sad…but my kids are the same way when we visit Disneyworld in the middle of a Maine winter. All they care about doing is swimming in the hotel pool because they’re swimming! in winter!
