10 things I’ve learned from my child

icecream tastes better if you eat it naked.

if everybody's doing it, it may not be safe but it's probably fun.

there's nothing wrong with getting a little, or a lot, messy

if someone tries to take your picture, just make a funny face.

feet are happier when they're not wearing shoes

if it's not all over your face, you're not really enjoying it.

there's nothing wrong with some pudge

bed-head can be cute.

live in the moment.

anyone can be a ninja. you just gotta feel like a ninja. do you feel like a ninja?

    I wish I could get my sister in law to read this list. My nephew and niece are always spotless, always well behaved, or they’re behind diciplined. I can’t wait to have kids so I can play in the mud with them!

    I love this blog. Any advice for helping an expecting second timer help my first born deal with new addition? My girlfriend told me about a personalized book series called Change is Strange for kids and I want something that focuses exclusively on the parents!

    This year has been especially furtle for our family in finding the joy of the simple things of life. Times have been tough and we have had to cut back but our family has all agreed this has been one of our best years to date so what more can you ask for really? I mean isn’t it joy and satisfaction and peace we are all after anyway? I have certainly never been fulfilled in anything else.
