Introducing the Banana family
August 28, 2007 – 4:39 pmWelcome!
Kick off your shoes, grab a drink, and find yourself a chair (just push the stack of laundry onto the floor… we don’t mind).
We can’t promise that you’ll find a clean or organized house but we can assure you that you’ll have a wacky, wild good time if you open your mind, free your inner crazy, and DANCE DANCE DANCE with us!
(It’s ok if you jump on the furniture.)
First let me introduce you to my husband, soul-mate, light of my life, father of my child… Jay.
CJ and I think that Jay is pretty much a superhero.
Also of note… he plays a blue guitar…
And did I mention he’s my knight in shining armor?
Next you really have to meet CJ. 4 years old and full of IT… life, humor, curiosity, energy…
Sometimes I think he’s superhuman too.
Hobbies include bathtub scuba diving,
And anything that involves wearing goggles (which includes but is not limited to shopping, bike riding, and just hanging out.)
This is what he looks like upside down. (He took this picture himself!)
And finally… me. I’m known as Jen, Jenny, Mom, or sometimes Bananas. I sometimes even respond to “Hey you! Lady!”
I’ve been known to wear goggles myself, on occasion.

And I’m the ORIGINAL supermama. Be afraid of my magical lasso! (Be more afraid of what I’ll do with Photoshop!)
I’d tell you I’m not a beauty queen, but the fact of the matter is…

Ok, enough with the Photoshopped pictures. Here’s what I REALLY look like…

Sorry… couldn’t resist.
Thanks for visiting!

LOVE the bathtub scuba pic! I have a bathtub scuba diver myself in Shark Boy. I enjoy your blog - and I love the name of it!

You are a funny funny lady. I was having an ultra crap day: “hate being a stay-at-home-mum, never get any time, blah blah blah…”, thanks for making me laugh!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this:)
I am surfing the net while waiting for my four year old to finish his pre-bed snack. It really made me laugh, in turn made my son laugh.
Thanks for making our night
