How many bad things have to happen before your luck turns?

The magic answer for today is 3.

(this is all in the same day)

1. I wake up, still nauseated. The only upside that I can see to this virus is that I’m sure to drop some poundage due to the fact that I can’t eat!!
2. (THE BIG ONE) I run into my other car in the driveway, causing $3,000 worth of damage (ouch)
3. I narrowly miss hitting a flying board while driving to the beach (it blew out of the back of some guy’s truck and *almost* into my windshield)

And then things started to turn around…

1. I enjoy a delightful afternoon with CJ frolicking at the beach (75 degrees, yeah!), followed by…
2. A marvelous impromptu dinner picnic on our back lawn with CJ, followed by…
3. A lovely run/walk through the woods with my sis… and THEN…
4. I finally won something! the 2007 Top Mom Blogs best post for Mother’s Day! Yeah! Look at me… I’m so excited! Yeah baby… it’s my birthday… (please excuse me; I’m doing the happy dance now… you might want to avert your eyes.)

Here’s hoping for a less tumultuous tomorrow.
