Another special moment
May 25, 2007 – 2:43 amWhy is it that somewhere around the age of 4, children decide that it is desperately funny to append the word “head” onto random words (or better, gross things) as an insult?
Like last night, we were all sitting in our backyard, enjoying dinner at our fabulous new bistro table.
CJ: Mommy, you’re a POOP HEAD.
Me: Ummm, don’t say that.
Jay: You have a potty mouth.
CJ: TOILET HEAD
Me: Yup, that’s a potty mouth alright.
CJ: PEE PEE HEAD
Me: Ok, that’s enough.
CJ: BOOGER HEAD
Jay: CJ, You need to tell your mother that she’s a complicated woman.
CJ: Mom, you’re a comp-eh-cated woo-men.Me: Thank you.
CJ: Toilet head.
It’s like they say, having dinner as a family is TRULY a special time.

Potty humor is the best and makes for great dinner conversations if you ask me.

I’m not quite sure how you don’t laugh at that conversation… especially while it’s happening!

Ahh, girls do it too.
They seem to mature later in this than boys though, as I have a 6 year old who thinks it’s hysterical to call me a bum-bum head.
I am not a bum-bum head.
