So far, spring break has been really fun. Here’s an overview of days 1 and 2:
- go to zoo to see baby tiger. refuse to stand in long line; buy ice cream and wander around. End up getting to see tiger anyway plus free cupcakes.
- play date. drink large amounts of coffee and kick back while kids play.
- go out to mexican food for dinner (can’t be bothered to cook after such a full day!)
- stay in PJ’s ALL day
- spend morning building way-cool rocket ship out of cardboard box, old computer parts, and tinfoil
- play with newly created rocket ship
- take a nap using pile of unfolded laundry as pillow (surprisingly comfy!), while CJ plays “mix & match” with his plastic easter eggs
- still in PJ’s… laundry still in unfolded pile… sipping a Diet Coke and writing this post
[here ends day 1]
[which brings us to the present]
Basically my sure-fire formula for spring break fun breaks down into two basic steps:
step 1: do what you feel
step 2: don’t do chores. they’ll only bring you down. (just don’t tell the flylady I said that!)
I should probably patent it, but I really can’t be bothered.
On to day 3…!

Oh how I miss having a Spring Break. And a summer, Christmas, and fall break. Hell, just a break in general!
Glad you are enjoying yourselves!
