An expensive… BUT FUN… way to entertain your three-year old
March 21, 2007 – 2:18 amThis afternoon I FINALLY discovered the secret to keeping CJ entertained for more than 10 minutes. I gave him my new digital camera, showed him how to use it, and wah-la! instant entertainment! Of course you have to be OK with entrusting a 3-year old with a piece of equipment worth a couple of hundred dollars… but hey, if this isn’t desperation, what is?
And, as an added bonus, I get to see our house through the eyes of CJ!

I haven’t done this yet with my kids, but I’ve always wondered what the world looks like from the perspective of my youngest…he’s 5. This would be a great way to document how he sees things for the scrapbook, though! Thanks for sharing

CA (our son, a classmate of CJ) has taken a bunch of interesting pictures.. A closeup of his mother’s uncle’s hand. Many pictures of mom and dad standing up from his point of view. It is pretty cute seeing a three year old (or two year old) holding a camera up to his face, not really knowing why (he doesn’t look through the viewfinder) and snapping away.
