A beautiful afternoon at Carkeek Park

CJ and I just spent the most lovely afternoon at Carkeek Park.
One of my FAVORITE things about Seattle is the parks. And this one is on my Top 5 list. A great playground (where else can you find a salmon slide and pseudo tide pools?), beach, and trails that take you high on a bluff overlooking the Puget Sound.
On a sunny day like today, it’s sheer bliss.
Just think… while I roamed the trails overlooking the water with sunshine and blue skies above, some people were working. Poor them… Lucky me. Not to gloat, but this is living.
