Well, it’s official. I am a short-timer.
I never thought I’d say this, but I’m starting to find that… when it comes to work… I really have stopped caring so much.
It’s a good thing, I’m sure. Working for The Man is really a thankless affair.
But now I’m working for The LITTLE Man… scarier? We shall see. Thankless? Perhaps. But just one of those sticky squeezey heartfelt kisses and it all feels worthwhile. After all, it’s not very often that you get to be at the absolute center of someone’s world (certainly not the case with one’s husband, for example!) So I’m going to revel in it while I have the chance!
